Connections+
Lakewood - Every Monday, 3:30-5:30 pm, at Cove Community Center
Fairview Park - Every Wednesday 4-6 pm
Connections is our foundational program, built to honor the pressing need for peer support among LGBTQ+ youth and allies. Connections is a drop-in program, hosted on weekday afternoons as an open space so that youth can attend after school while maintaining other school and social activities. This program focuses on emotional, social, and mental wellness skills: we offer judgment-free skill building, personal connection and coaching, self-care practices, and the opportunity to develop peer relationships in a safe and validating environment. Youth enjoy connecting with one another, snacks, games, books, and creating art.

Gender+ Playgroups
2nd Saturday of the Month 9am-11am

Gender+ Playgroups are monthly playgroups for gender expansive/diverse youth ages 3-11. These playgroups offer kids the opportunity to play, engage, cooperate, and create in a safe and affirming space with other kids who share their experiences. These play groups also connect families and caregivers with each other and provide a central social support that is age-appropriate, peer-driven, and affirming for all involved.

Dungeons & Dragons
Virtual Tuesdays 6-9pm and In Person Saturdays 12pm-3pm

Because play is a primary way that youth connect, collaborate, engage, and learn, we offer a Dungeons & Dragons for LGBTQ+ youth ages 11-19 every week and a half, alternating Saturdays and Tuesdays. This play experience leverages fictional characters to help youth try on various qualities and choices that they might not feel comfortable experimenting with in daily life. This activity builds strong social support, builds self-confidence, allows youth to explore their identity safely, and allows participants to express their creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making in real time.
